CampyBETTER™ – Campylobacter-specific Chromogenic Assay Kit

The CampyBETTER™ rapid biochemical easy-to-read assay proceeds in two steps and required water-based solutions for an improved safety and sustainability.  The assay efficiently allows the discrimination of a microorganism having hippuricase activity from a microorganism without hippuricase activity as a bright pink color develops ion positive samples and is highly competitive with currently-on-the market products. The assay can thus give a positive read-out with other hippuricase-positive organisms such as Streptococcus agalactiae ATCC®12386. Comnpared to commercial many ninhydrin-based assays, it offers a considerable reduction in assay time and a more specific reactivity.
